A big favourite at Annabels, Vince Lee's band the Big Combo have been swinging the blues around the southwest since late 1996, building a reputation for authentic sounding rhythm and blues and high quality musicianship.
At the forefront of the bands sound is Vince Lee's swinging guitar and powerful blues voice. On electric bass is Al Wallis who's warm tone and musical adaptability allow his playing to take on a double bass feel whenever required. Keith Russell's imaginative drum style draws inspiration from many musical cultures to create the perfect backdrop for each song.
The interaction and energy between these three musicians has to be experienced in a live situation to be fully appreciated.

Formed in the late Winter months 2010, Dubclass, came together from ecentric musicians jamming in a loft space. Underpinned & influenced by the 1990's UK festival scene Dubclass soon developed their own signature sounds and recognised their modern potential.
With a range of musical backgrounds Dubclass's ingredients brings a celebration of music through much diversity. With elements of many genre's Dubclass i'm sure will never be immediately pigeon holed; Dub with progressive rock, Earthy & Punk, Ska with Trance or even Reggae with Experimental Indie....its all in their sound and more.

They tackle the various styles that developed within the Rock 'n' Roll genre- from the US Rockabilly style through R&B influenced harder edged material, the British beat, classics from Bill Haley, Johnny Burnette, Carl Perkins and Elvis, as well as many contemporary rock ...and roll artists.
A large sprinkling of their set lists is flavoured with the Jive beat – ever popular in clubs around the UK and in Europe.
The Band consists of vocals, guitar, drums and the all essential ingredient for authentic 50's music – a slap bass.
All members of the band sing – all take lead vocals, and harmonies are a strong feature of their sound.

MICHAEL CAMPARI is something else. He does bear a passing resemblance to a young Frank, when sporting his tilted angle trilby, 50s style suit and shirt collar loosened at the neck – but his voice has a sensual deep rich tone all of its own, an amalgam of natural ability plus classical training (he studied Italian opera), aided by several years' intake of nicotine.
